Hi! I'm a graduate student at the University of Houston, currently researching the phase diagram of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) using a holographic model. My research uses gauge/gravity duality to investigate the thermodynamics and phase structure of QCD. I'm always excited to explore new ideas and perspectives. I have a wide range of interests—scientific and beyond—so feel free to reach out if you'd like to chat or collaborate!

About the picture: This was taken during a shoot-and-paint experience in Houston. At the end of the session, we were invited to write something on the wall. My boyfriend (also a physicist) noticed there weren’t any equations up yet—so naturally, I added the gravitational action.

Outreach

I served as the president of the Women in Physics Society (WiPS) at the University of Houston from 2022-2025. I'm passionate about equity in science and proudly call myself a STEMinist.

I'm also an APS Student Ambassador, actively involved in outreach initiatives that aim to make physics more inclusive, accessible, and engaging—especially for students from underrepresented backgrounds and Science Advocacy.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

When I’m not doing physics, I create content on social media—blending my love for travel, literature, fitness, fashion, and (of course) physics. I aim to make science feel aesthetic, relatable, and inspiring.

I also co-host The Knowmads Podcast, where we explore ideas from quantum chaos and black holes to string theory and gravity. Our expert guests help us unpack the big questions about the universe.
